Terms of Use
Effective October 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of vetracheck.com, operated by VetraCheck Inc. ("VetraCheck", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them.
Our guides are general information
Articles, guides, checklists, pricing ranges and other content on this site are general information about New York City building compliance. They are not legal, engineering or architectural advice for your building, and reading them does not create a professional relationship.
Rules change. Whether a requirement applies to your property, and what it requires, depends on your building and the rules in effect at the time. Confirm requirements with the NYC Department of Buildings, NYSDEC or a qualified professional before acting on them.
Inspection services
Requesting a quote does not obligate either party. Inspection services are provided only under an accepted quote or a separate written agreement, and those terms control if they conflict with these.
Prices on the site are general ranges. Your quote depends on building height, parapet length, access and scope, and is confirmed in writing before work is scheduled.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site. That includes submitting false information through our forms, interfering with the site's operation or security, or scraping content for republication.
Intellectual property
The site's content, design and branding belong to VetraCheck or its licensors. You may read, print and share links to pages for personal or internal business use. Other reproduction requires our written permission.
Third-party services and links
The site uses third-party services, including HubSpot and Google, and links to external sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the site and its content, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, VetraCheck is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
